I started a new job last week, Monday, July 10th, for the Institute of Professional Development (IPD). For those of you that don't know, I am still recruiting students for IWU. I am now representing the business programs instead of nursing. My new OFFICE (yes, I'm out of cubicle land) is based out of Fort Wayne. For now, I'm commuting every day to Fort Wayne from Gas City. It's not a bad drive: 40 minutes from my house. I set up my office today. I'll post pictures of that soon.
Today marks my 6th day of employment here in Fort Wayne. I was trying to email an assignment into one of my facilitators this afternoon. His name is Boyd Johnson. I pulled up a new email from my IPD Microsoft Outlook email, attached my file, and sent. The response I received was one I wasn't expecting.
It read, "Kristi, the proposal looks good. I only have one question; why are you sending it to me?" Upon getting this email mesage reply, I was somewhat confused. So I pulled up the Global Email Address List and clicked on his name. The informataion on the gentleman named Boyd Johnson was not working with IWU. He was based out of Phoenix, AZ, and worked for the University of Phoenix, Online. I felt like such an idiot. This makes at least three times I've done something stupid during my Master's work.
Guess I'm just going to be a big goober forever! :)
