Yesterday...

Yesterday was pretty uneventful for me. Nothing too exciting. (I did turn 26, however! ;) ) But there were a few small things throughout the day that struck me as funny.

#1) It snowed here yesterday! Not a lot, and not enough to stick or anything, but flurries throughout the day. This morning, there was a light dusting over everything. That is a first - snow on my birthday! :)

#2) A man called in to inquire about the nursing program I represent. The gentleman said that is life plans had not come to "fruitation." Fruitation? Oh! He meant fruition. Made me laugh.

#3) Missing trashcan? My trashcan is missing. Gone - completely. Gas City had a severe wind/thunderstorm come through the area on Tuesday night and carried over all day Wednesday. I put the trash out before heading into work on Wednesday morning for the trash man to pick up. When I came home for lunch, the trash recepticle was completely gone. Not just blown into a neighbor's yard or down the street, but gone - entirely. Strange, don't you think?

#4) I read on Josh Garlow's blog the other day a list called, "There Ain't Nothing Like..." I've decided to come up with my own. Will post it soon.

#5) Not so much funny, but informative. Gibson bit me yesterday! HE BIT ME! Broke the skin in two spots on my finger. It hurt just a little, but regardless, this is one habit that will be broken. Period.

Hi Kristi, happy birthday! Guess you'll have to be like the rest of us who toss their Glad trash bags out by the alley the morning the trash man cometh! My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary Tuesday night but couldn't because of the storms. Tonight we're going to Kokomo I think.
Blessings!
Tom
