I met Bono!!!

For those of you who are U2 fans, you'll be happy to know that I finally made it to my very first U2 concert. It was back on September 20th (sorry for the delay) up in Chicago. I went with two very good friends (Jerod Asher and Andrea Ketchem). Andrea had searched online to see when the band usually arrived at the United Center so we could get some photos and maybe some autographs, if we were so lucky. The good news is - WE WERE! Below are a few photos of Bono and The Edge being 6 inches in front of me. (SIX INCHES!!) You won't be surprised to hear that the concert was fantastic and I would most definitely go again. (No, they have not taken the place of Dave Matthews Band in my heart. I'm still very loyal.)

Hi Kristi! Cool pics!!! There is something in U2 that makes them special and actually it's hard to define what that is: music?, lyrics?. I heard that U2 had a concert in Poland at the beginning of July I think and there is this song (I don't remember the name) that was made by U2 in the 80's for Polish Soladirity. So, when they started playing this song, people put up white and red sheets up so Bono saw a one huge Polish flag and he was really touched by that.
Cheers.

Kristi! First of all, it's sooo cool to see your pictures of Bono and the Edge! I'm not surprised at all you got 6 inches away from them. Sounds like something Kristi Fields could manuever.;) Secondly, it's sooo cool to find your blog!
And thirdly, I still have very cool memories of our Dave Matthews concert together at Deer Creek!
You rock and I miss you.
