Coffee, anyone?

I did an incredibly stupid thing this morning. I was at work and had just poured myself a nice cup of piping hot coffee, complete with Nutrasweet and Vanilla Caramel creamer. The perfect morning beverage for a crisp, fall morning in Indiana. I decided to go say good morning to my friend Kerri over in the other building; so off I went. A little bit of coffee splashed on my hand as I attempted to walk very carefully with the stirring spoon still in the mug and the hot liquid almost up to the brim. But I made it, with very little spillage. (You like that word - spillage? haha!) I turned the corner to head up the stairs to Kerri's office, when BAM! I completely missed the first step of the staircase and tumbled forward, coffee mug still in hand. I did not drop the mug at any given point during my fall forward, however, coffee went everywhere. All over the sleeve of my red turtleneck sweater, the stairs, and the nice new carpeting of the AGS Administration Building. Good one, Kristi! Good one! I rushed to the ladies' room to get some paper towel and frantically began cleaning up the spill. As I was doing this, the maintenance staff in charge of the building came up from behind me and simply asked, "What did you do?!" I apologized several times over and he just laughed. I have smelled like vanilla caramel coffee all day long, thus, inspiring this post. Laugh a lot - because I sure did! :)
