This is me as we're picking up Missy in Lafayette on our way to Chi-town.

Andrea, Missy and I went to Ikea. Andrea and I found these nifty horses and felt compelled to ride them like cowgirls.

Missy, me and Andrea on the train into downtown to go shopping on Michigan Avenue.
Note: The doll that Andrea is holding is in honor of a friend of her and Missy's from college who couldn't be there that weekend. Andrea bought a doll that resembles their friend, Karissa, and took pictures of their "friend"all over the city.

Tulips are my favorite flower, so I had to have my picture with these gorgeous ones downtown!

We walked past a fire station and the firemen were so nice to us. Look! They even let me wear their hat (which is REALLY heavy, by the way)!

Would you want this job? These are two people cleaning windows on at least the 20th floor of the building.

There was a boat going along the river and they had to raise the bridge.

Looking up at some random building. I love the architecture of this city!

Andrea and me at Giordano's for some deep-dish pizza. It was SO good!

Me, Missy and Andrea on the train heading back downtown Saturday night.

This is Willowcreek Community Church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. This sanctuary cost $73 million!

The sanctuary again. It can hold up to 7,095 people!

Kristi! I can't believe you found our blog - it's so crazy to hear from you after so long! What are you up to these days?
By the way - glad you had fun in Chicago. We're there several times a year ... LOVE Willow Creek and have been to their new auditorium several times. And GIORDANO'S in most DEFINITELY the greatest pizza ever!
Hope to hear from you again soon!
Dan
